Christine is the entrepreneurial force behind Stonewing’s operations. Inspired by her father, she launched her first business nearly 30 years ago, gaining extensive experience in business ownership and executive leadership across both small and large enterprises. Her expertise spans strategic planning, customer fulfillment, business finance, marketing, and forecasting. With a passion for overcoming challenges and improving lives, Christine consistently strives for the best outcomes for her clients, the brands she represents, and the employees she leads.

As a role model for women business owners and executives, Christine exemplifies excellence and leadership in every endeavor. Outside of work, Christine enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring new cultures. Her greatest passion, however, is her family—her husband of 30 years and best friend Derek, her son Taylor, daughter Josie, two dogs (Casey and Gus), and two cats (Reggie and Oprah).

Known for creativity and problem-solving, Derek thinks outside the box to achieve shared goals while inspiring his team with strong leadership and a tireless motor. With degrees in design and business, Derek blends artistry with a “no-fail” business mindset. Guided by the motto, “Say what you do, do what you say,” he continually enhances his skills through certifications, training, and cutting-edge construction techniques.

Derek builds trust through honesty, innovative technologies, and a commitment to excellence, delivering exceptional results every time. Outside of work, Derek enjoys family time and outdoor adventures—skiing, mountain biking, golfing, and early-morning walks with his loyal German shepherd, Casey.

The Stonewing Process

Step1
DISCOVERY
Project Completion

All projects begin with an onsite visit to capture the vision for your project, explore your style, and establish a budget. If the project is a good fit, a clear and detailed estimate is drafted reflective of the desired project.

Step2
DESIGN
Design & Engineering

Following an agreed contract, the conceptualization of your project is captured.  This includes necessary comprehensive designs, architectural plans, engineering designs, obtaining appropriate permits and “before” pictures.

PLANNING
Project Planning

With an agreed goal, mutual objectives, well-defined project scope and timeline established; resources are allocated.  This begins with sharing project schedule with you, assignment of necessary contractors, material take-offs and setting of project boundaries to assure you understand what is included and excluded. 

Step4
CONSTRUCTION
Project Construction

Construction process begins with preparation of your site along with the scheduling and delivery of materials. Using shared project software, project details and updates are made available to you. Stages may include: foundation / framing / electrical / plumbing / HVAC / flooring / finishing / final punch list / change orders.

Step5
COMPLETION
Project Completion

We want to provide peace of mind with a final walk through making sure everything was completed as specified and that you are satisfied with the result.   We will strive to always make sure you are happy with the outcome enough to allow us to take pictures and provide a testimony.
